"Countdown Widget Calendar" (hereinafter referred to as "this app") is a mobile countdown and reminder application available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to both the iOS and Android versions of this app. We recommend that you read it carefully and completely.
This app does not require you to create an account, and your countdown events are stored locally on your device by default.
1. Device and advertising identifiers. To display ads and measure app usage we collect
device identifiers, including the advertising ID (Android) or IDFA (iOS, only with your permission through
App Tracking Transparency), and an app instance identifier generated by Google Firebase.
2. Approximate location. Our advertising partner may infer your coarse (city-level)
location from your IP address to serve ads relevant to your region. We do not access your device's GPS
location.
3. App interactions and analytics. We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous
usage events (for example, app opens and feature usage) so we can understand how the app is used and
improve it.
4. Purchase records. When you buy a subscription or one-time upgrade, the purchase is
processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We and our subscription-management provider Adapty receive
purchase records (product, transaction identifiers, subscription status) to unlock the features you paid
for and to restore your purchases. We never see or store your payment card details.
5. Images you choose to share. Only when you use the "Share" feature, the background image
of the shared countdown is uploaded to our storage (Google Firebase Storage) so that a share link can be
generated. This does not happen unless you actively share.
6. Voice input and AI chat. If you create events by voice, the audio is processed in real
time by your device's speech-recognition service and is not stored by us. If you use the AI assistant, your
messages are processed in real time by Google's Gemini API to generate a response; we do not store your
conversations on our servers.
7. Feedback. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the content of
your message. This information is used only to respond to you and improve our products, and is never sold
or disclosed to third parties for commercial gain.
Data that stays on your device: your countdown events, custom background images (unless shared), and any calendar or reminder data the app reads with your permission are used and stored locally only and are not transmitted to us.
We display ads through Google AdMob to keep the app free. AdMob may use your advertising identifier and approximate location to show personalized or non-personalized ads. In regions where consent is required (such as the EEA and UK), we ask for your consent through Google's consent framework before personalized ads are shown. You can opt out at any time: on Android, reset or delete your advertising ID in system settings (Settings → Google → Ads); on iOS, disallow tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Purchasing the premium upgrade removes ads entirely.

When you tap ads or links of third parties inside the app you may leave the app; we are not responsible for
the privacy practices of those third parties and recommend that you read their policies.
We do not sell your personal information. Data is transferred to the service providers listed above only to the extent needed to operate the app (advertising, analytics, purchases, sharing). Our advertising partner Google may use the data it collects for its own advertising purposes as described in its policies linked above.
All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS (TLS). Analytics and advertising data are retained by the respective providers according to their retention policies. Shared countdown images are retained so that share links keep working.
Since this app does not use accounts, most data is either stored only on your device (delete it by deleting the app data or uninstalling) or tied to a resettable advertising identifier (reset it in system settings). If you would like us to delete data associated with you — for example an image you shared — contact us at the email below and we will handle your request. Users in the EEA, UK, and certain other regions may also have rights to access, correct, or object to processing of their personal data; contact us to exercise them.
This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
